Building upon the success of vehicle auctions at Bawtry and Chesterfield, the Bawtry site ventured into bike auctions in 1998 and has never looked back.
Bike auctions come and go with regularity and it is recognised that selling motorbikes is a lot more difficult than selling cars - that's probably why there are so few bike auctions around the country.
There is an awful lot of enthusiasm for the monthly bike auctions, with buyers and sellers travelling from all over the country. Crowds in excess of 500 bikers are not uncommon at certain times of the year. Entries grow every month and, recently for the first time, new unregistered bikes are entered. Facilities are good with all entries available for viewing in the two auction halls. Full catering facilities are available on the night.
